The Lauderdale County Children’s Policy Council is happy to bring Lieutenant Mike Reese with Operation Save Teens to the Florence-Lauderdale Coliseum, 702 Veterans Drive. This FREE event is happening on Tuesday, October 11th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Operation Save Teens was started in 2001 as an educational partnership between the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and the Calhoun/Cleburne Drug Task Force to deal with the alarming number of teens experimenting recreationally with prescription drugs in Alabama. With the trends in substance abuse changing so quickly, it is important for us as a community to be educated on the dangers facing our youth daily. ALL adults and youth (ages 12 & up only please) are encouraged to attend. Registration is not required but appreciated!
